Construction

1: General |

The container will be constructed with steel frames, fully vertically corrugated steel side and end walls, corrugated steel roof, steel flooring, corrugated four hinged doors and ISO 1161 corner casting fittings at eight corners. All steelworks will be built up by MIG welding. All exterior welding including that on base structure will be continuous to give perfect water tightness. |
2: Base Frame |

The base frame will be composed of two 8mm thick bottom side rails, 39 NOS cross members (IS 4923 YST 310 RHS PIPE 145*82*3.2MM). |
3: Front Frame |
---|
The front end frame will be composed of one front sill (6mm thick), two front corner posts (6mm thick), one front header (6mm thick), four corner castings and 2mm thick steel sheets fully vertically corrugated joint together by automatic welding. |
4: Rear Frame |
---|
The front end frame will be composed of one rear sill (6mm thick), two corner posts (6mm thick), one rear header (6mm thick) with header plate, four corner fittings and Door System with locking devices. |
5: Door System |
---|
Doors will consist of two door leaves, each leaf consists one corrugated door panel, steel door frame which consists of c channel for horizontal member (upper & lower) and RHS pipe (96*48*3.2mm) for vertical members. They are welded together to form the rectangular door leaves. The doors are so arranged that the each leaf with gaskets and two locking devices which consists galvanized DLM road, door lock handles, camp keeper, brackets. The doors will be installed by hinges blades, hinge pins, washers and bushes to the rear end frame. |
6: Side Wall Assembly |

Each side wall will be composed of a TSR IS 4923 YST 310 (100*100*5MM), a number of corrugated sheet panel joint together by automatic welding, (96*48*3.2mm) pipe for vertical support and middle post to strengthen the side wall. Each side wall has a door with 829mm door opening. This side door consists of two (96*48*3.2mm) pipe for vertical member and two c channel (upper & lower) for horizontal member. |
Inspection of Containers
- Stage and final inspection is done by our quality team and third party (LRQA) inspector.
